Neil has worked in the accounts industry for nineteen years, the first eight of which, where in practice gaining experience in account preparation, problem solving and auditing. The remainder were then spent in the automotive industry. 

 

Neil worked for eleven years with a large multi-franchise dealership in the north west based in Kendal, Cumbria. The group had a number of franchises including Citroen, Honda, Subaru and Isuzu. In addition to this there was also a bodyshop business. Ultimately Neil was financial controller for the entire group which included two additional sites which housed an additional Citroen franchise, a Kia franchise and a used car supermarket.

The dealership sold their main site and Neil remained as Financial Controller of this business, in addition to this he became the General Manager for the site and gained wider experience in the general operation of the dealership. Which included researching and adding additional Ssangyong and Renault franchises to the business.
In 2007 Neil decided that it was time to utilise the experience and skills that he had gained to benefit more than just a single dealership. Neil also brings extensive experience of the IT infrastructure used within the motor industry having gained experience in the roll out of the Kerridge Dealer Management System (Version 7.4 and 8).

Neil is a highly skilled and vastly experienced individual who can provide support to dealers who may not have the internal resources available to implement the appropriate controls and innovations to ensure the health and growth of the business.
